Purpose of the Position

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of IT specialists dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency across CCL Design.

Working with colleagues in Scotland and China, the team focuses on optimizing business processes and supporting our ERP system (IFS) alongside other key IT platforms.

As a Business Analyst, you will receive both formal training and hands-on experience to develop a deep understanding of our ERP and IT systems. Over time, you'll become a subject matter expert in ERP, contributing to impactful projects across our organization. The role may involve occasional travel to other CCL Design locations, offering valuable exposure to our global operations.

Main Responsibilities.
  • Business Process Procedures.
  • Ensure site is aware and follow Business Process Procedures.
  • General IFS Management.
  • Resolve issues.
  • Manage Change requests.
  • Manage New reports Requests.
  • Audit
  • Audit sites against best practice throughout the CCL Design sites.
  • Train IFS community –Train users in best practice for IFS and other IT systems where required.
  • Training documentation should be based on the standard Procedures.
  • Ensure site has power users of the systems so they can support the business operations.
  • Create certification test users.
  • New IFS Sites – Work with the Business Process team to rollout IFS to new Sites.
  • Review documents on how to create a new company.
  • Test IFS Patches – test patches to be applied to IFS. All tests to be documented.
  • Reports – Ensure all sites use the standard IFS reports and support local site for key reports.
  • KPI's - Ensure all sites follow agreed standard Finance KPIs.
  • New projects – Work where required in rolling out the new projects within the CCL Design Group.
  • Lead & Project manage the roll out of new IFS Functionality when requested.
  • Test IFS Software Upgrade and releases.
  • You will be expected to provide world class customer support.
  • You will be an excellent team player with a high standard of written and oral communication skills.
  • The role requires the ability to deliver projects to time scales under pressure.
  • Personally, you will have the eagerness to learn on the job with a commitment to personal development.
  • Work with other team members in delivering new functionality across the sites.
  • Support local SQL systems and manufacturing systems used locally.
Scope/Measurement of Performance
  • Responsibility for supporting the IFS System and other manufacturing systems, meeting agreed performance criteria and delivering on business system projects.
  • Delivering agreed standards and functionality through the use of good business system process practises.
  • Lead by example in regards to using one's initiative to identify business process improvements where applicable.
  • Provide good communication skills across all sites where applicable.
Qualifications/ experience

Preferably you will be a numerate graduate with the ability to solve complex problems, although candidates without a degree qualification or relevant experience. You will also have good analytical skills for data accuracy. Experience of SQL Server and other Reporting Solutions is required in order to support on site IT systems.
