  • Create sketches, mood boards, and detailed drawings: using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D modeling tools.
  • Research and select: appropriate materials, furniture, finishes, lighting, and decor.
  • Help source and coordinate: with vendors and suppliers for project materials.
  • Prepare client presentations: by creating visualizations and sample boards to present design ideas.
  • Participate in site visits: and assist with client meetings to understand their needs.
  • Maintain project documentation: and organize design files.
  • Collaborate with the design team: and provide input on design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is typically required.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity is crucial for entry-level roles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering programs.
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design.
  • Good project management and organizational skills.
