As a Staff Software Engineer you will be part of our VERA - DPT team to play Senior Dev Lead role to design, enhance and build DEP (Digital Enablement Platform) development eco system as more agile, productive, reliable and faster. You will work with highly talented colleagues, who will support and challenge you daily. You will be taking driver seat and be part of multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of tool and utilities, productivity tools, building strong governance model for DEP development eco system. You will work with external System Integrators to help build some of the popular Systems. You must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, have the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment, and be able to prioritize multiple demands. You will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices, finding areas of improvement, and coordinating multiple work streams.

• BE/Btech degree in computer science or other related fields with a minimum 8 years of experience in relevant experience OR MS degree in computer science or other related fields with a minimum 6 years of experience in relevant experience, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

• Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.

• Tracked records of delivering scalable applications and solving large-scale complex business problems.

• Strong design and coding skills with Java/J2EE, Spring, JavaScript technologies.

• Strong design and coding skills with Angular, NodeJS, MySQL and REST web services technologies.

• Experience leading or knowledge of GenAI product development with knowledge in LLM integration and prompt engineering.

• Flavors of GenAI: Experience and understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications.

• Experience is Test Automation frameworks and implementation for UX, Native, Website, API automation using frameworks such as Appium, Selenium.

• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Jenkins.

• Knowledge and working experience on Git/Stash, Jenkins and Jira

• Experience in applying modern Agile Software Development practices is required.

• Experience with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.

• Experience in Microservices development is a plus.

• Should be able to lead the technical team in comfortably extending an existing solution, or conceiving a new solution and working with delivery to have the target state architecture realized.

• Good interpersonal and facilitation skills.

• Ability to multi task and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction from management. Should possess excellent planning and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications

•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

•You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of Software Development Experience or a Masters with 8 years of Software Development Experience

•You have expertise of Core Java, JEE technologies, Web technologies, JavaScript and container based technologies.

•Understanding of middleware/integration technologies (EPIC, Cegid, Oracle XStore, ETLs, APIs, Web Services, REST, SOAP)

•You have the expertise on the technologies, Hazelcast, KAFKA, Docker/K8S,

•You are an expert in proposing solutions for building world class payment solutions which includes Development, monitoring, troubleshooting, triaging

•You have related SME knowledge in building developer platform and tool

•You have experience architecting solutions with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in mind

•You have the ability to work with various Solutions architects/Architects to build tailored solutions for various system integrations.

•You are a mentor rest of the team members to groom them as best in class developers and advocate AI for faster delivery.

•You are an advocate to rest of the teams to best engineering practices to delivery with highest quality possible, with top velocity.
