Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The role involves performing high-quality welding operations using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) techniques to manufacture, assemble, and repair metal components, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

Perform MIG welding on various materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Set up welding machines, select appropriate electrodes, wires, and shielding gases.

Carry out cutting, grinding, and finishing of welded joints.

Inspect and test welds to ensure accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.

Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workplace in good condition.

Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Report defects, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a MIG Welder or in a similar role.

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.

Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.

Physical stamina and ability to work in hot, noisy environments.

Good attention to detail and quality orientation.

Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory).

Education & Experience:

Minimum 10th Pass / ITI Welder Certification preferred.

1–3 years of experience in MIG welding in fabrication/manufacturing industry.

Work Conditions:

Workshop / Site-based work environment.

May involve overtime, shift work, and standing for long hours.

Safety gear mandatory (helmet, gloves, welding mask, boots, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8, ₹25,435.84 per month
