Job Role – CFX Artist:

We are looking for a talented and passionate
CFX Artist
to join our growing team at our Chennai studio. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with artistic sensibility to create realistic cloth, hair, and fur simulations that bring characters and environments to life.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality
  cloth, hair, and fur simulations
  for characters and assets.
• Work closely with the character modeling, rigging, and animation teams to ensure seamless integration of simulations.
• Develop and optimize CFX setups for both stylized and realistic productions.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to simulation and dynamics.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain the highest quality standards and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Software Knowledge:

• Strong proficiency in
  Autodesk Maya
  and
  Houdini
  for simulation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with
  Blender
  for cloth/hair/fur dynamics.
• Knowledge of
  CLO3D
  and
  Marvelous Designer
  for garment creation and simulation.
• Strong understanding of physics-based simulations, character rigging interactions, and pipeline integration.
• Ability to balance realism with artistic direction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, VFX, Computer Graphics, or a related field (preferred).
• 1+ years of proven experience as a CFX Artist in a production environment (freshers with strong portfolios will also be considered).
• Strong portfolio/reel showcasing cloth, hair, and fur simulation work.
