Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager who can lead our digital presence and storytelling. The ideal candidate should combine strong skills in content creation, graphic design, and social media management with a passion for social impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase visibility and engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content (posts, reels, videos, stories) aligned with the Foundation's mission.
  • Design eye-catching graphics, posters, and creatives using Canva or similar tools.
  • Edit photos and videos for campaigns, events, and storytelling.
  • Optimize social media handles through analytics, SEO-friendly practices, and trend alignment.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely posting.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to improve strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for campaigns, events, and special initiatives.
  • Monitor conversations, respond to comments/messages, and build an online community.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms for organizations or brands.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design/editing tools.
  • Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual design skills.
  • Basic video editing and photo retouching skills.
  • Understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Passion for non-profit and social development sector is a plus.
