Designation: Performance Test Architect

Experience: 8– 10 years

Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate

Location: Mumbai (on-site)

Primary Responsibilities:

Key Technical Skills –

• Must have at least 5 banking Performance Testing experience using JMeter – end to end.
• Understanding of Software engineering and testing methodologies in the context of large-scale enterprise systems.
• Experience in testing and optimizing high volume web and batch based transactional enterprise applications.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing NFRs, creating performance test strategy, defining workload models.
• Hands-on experience in creating and executing test scripts using open source and commercial PT tools.
• Must be necessarily proficient in JMeter or Gatling. Should have executed at least 2 large scale engagements with Open Source Performance Testing tools.
• Experience in setup and management of test environments on different platforms (Windows/Unix).
• Good knowledge of JAVA, .NET and SQL & NO SQL performance tuning/Performance Tuning/Optimization experience that include (garbage collection, heap management, JVM Configuration, VS table, explain plan, query optimization etc.).
• Strong programming experience in Java is preferable.
• Experience in performing capacity planning and must have worked with Technical Leadership to anticipate performance issues before they occur.
• Good understanding of technical architectures and networking concepts.
• Working experience on Performance Testing on Cloud infrastructure.
• Candidates must have prior experience in the BFSI/NBFC industries.

Other requirements –

• Experience in interfacing with the customers.
• Ability to analyze and articulately summarize performance testing reports for the different stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor development teams and guide them in resolving complex technical issues encountered during testing.
• Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the performance testing space and an ability to evaluate, select and propose tools and technologies to meet the requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tolerance to ambiguities
