Senior Consultant

The Role

This is a critical, senior role for an experienced Tricentis professional who thrives on variety, autonomy, and making a real impact. You will be our go-to expert for both Tricentis Tosca and qTest, acting as a trusted advisor and hands-on leader for our clients across the APAC, EMEA, and USA regions.

This is not a simple automation role. You will be responsible for hands-on delivery, strategic enablement, and formal training, guiding clients from initial setup to a mature, self-sufficient practice. This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the flexibility to collaborate across global time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Consulting & Delivery:
• Participate in the end-to-end delivery of Tricentis Tosca automation projects, including developing robust, scalable frameworks for a global client base.
• Implement and configure Tricentis qTest to meet client needs, including complex integrations with Jira and other tools.
• Act as the primary technical expert on client projects, solving complex automation and test management challenges across different industries.
• Customer Enablement & Strategy:
• Serve as a strategic advisor, helping clients build and mature their quality engineering practice and Test Automation Centers of Excellence (CoE).
• Guide clients on best practices for test design, automation strategy, risk-based testing, and data-driven reporting.
• Help clients define measurable KPIs to protect their investment and demonstrate the ROI of their Tricentis tools.
• Training & Mentoring:
• Deliver engaging, high-quality training programs and workshops (delivered remotely) for client teams on both Tricentis Tosca and qTest.
• Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to upskill client resources, helping them become self-sufficient.

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)

Must-Haves:

• Deep Tosca Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, including framework design, automation (AS1/AS2 levels), and maintenance.
• Strong qTest Expertise: 2+ years of experience with Tricentis qTest, including setup, administration, reporting, and integration (especially with Jira).
• Client-Facing Experience: Proven experience in a consulting, professional services, or senior delivery role where you were accountable to external clients.
• Training & Enablement: Demonstrable experience in formally training, mentoring, or enabling teams on technical tools or processes.
• Excellent Communicator: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential to confidently explain complex technical concepts to global stakeholders.
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to provide support and overlap with teams in the USA, EMEA, and APAC time zones.
• Self-Motivated: As a senior remote employee, you must be a proactive problem-solver who can manage your own time and priorities without supervision.
• Location: Must be based in India with the right to work.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Tricentis certifications (e.g., Test Architect, qTest Certified).
• Experience with other test management or automation tools (e.g., Xray, Selenium).
• Experience with Atlassian Jira (as an advanced user or admin).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• An interest in data visualization and analytics (e..g., OpenSearch Dashboards, Power BI).
