Scientist – AI/ML for Drug Discovery (Remote, India)

We are an early-stage startup building an AI-driven platform to accelerate drug discovery
. We're looking for a passionate and innovative
Scientist
with expertise in
AI/ML and drug discovery
to join our founding team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of machine learning and life sciences, helping us pivot our platform into a discovery-focused engine.


Role Details

  • Title:
    Scientist – AI/ML for Drug Discovery
  • Location:
    Remote (India only)
  • Type:
    Full-time, early-stage role
  • Compensation:
    ₹40,000 – ₹60,000/month (depending on skills & experience)
  • Growth potential after funding round
  • Start Date:
    Target window October – December 2025


What You'll Do

  • Design and implement AI/ML models (deep learning, GNNs, generative models) for drug discovery applications.
  • Work with large-scale datasets (ChEMBL, ZINC, PubChem, BindingDB) to generate insights and predictive models.
  • Collaborate on drug-target interaction, ADMET prediction, and molecular property modeling.
  • Contribute to shaping the direction of our discovery-focused AI platform at an early stage.


What We're Looking For

Required:

  • MSc/PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong experience in AI/ML model development.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, RDKit, DeepChem).
  • Hands-on experience with drug discovery datasets.

Preferred:

  • Experience in drug-target prediction, ADMET modeling, or computational chemistry.
  • Publication record in AI/ML + drug discovery.
  • Prior experience in startups or remote work environments.
