Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP S4, Techno-Functional Consultant with 6–8 years of experience in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module within SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Advanced Returns Management, Value-Added Services (VAS) functionality, Outbound Scheduling, and strong technical proficiency including ABAP code debugging, interface handling (API, EDI), and mass data management.

This role requires a well-rounded professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the effective implementation and support of SD processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a techno-functional expert for the SAP SD module in an S/4HANA environment.
  • ARM Configuration: Configure and work with the Advanced Return Management (ARM) functionality and interfaces associated with WMS.
  • SAP SD Module Expertise: Customize, configure, and support SAP SD modules, specifically focusing on Sales Order Processing, ATP checks, and integration with other SAP modules like MM.
  • Configure and support VAS functionality.
  • Design and optimize processes for outbound scheduling and delivery execution.
  • Testing and Go-Live Support: Support in system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go-live support during project rollouts.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Debug ABAP code and support enhancements, custom developments, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Work on integrations using IDoc, EDI, and API-based interfaces with third-party systems.
  • Leverage tools like LSMW, mass data load programs, and Fiori apps for data management and user interactions.
  • Participate in end-to-end project phases including requirement gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Create and maintain documentation, functional specs, and user training materials.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD within S/4HANA environments.

  • Proven experience in:

  • Advanced Returns Management

  • Value-Added Services (VAS)

  • Outbound Scheduling

  • Strong ABAP debugging skills and ability to collaborate with developers.

  • Experience with interfaces – IDocs, APIs, and EDI formats and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Fiori apps and their usage in SD-related business processes.
  • Proficiency with data migration tools such as LSMW, BAPIs, and other mass upload mechanisms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
