Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Fashion Designer who is passionate about fashion, design trends, and has strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should bring fresh ideas, assist in the creative process, and support the head designer in day-to-day design and production tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles.
  • Work closely with the head designer to support seasonal collections.
  • Create technical drawings and assist with sample development
  • Attend client meetings or fittings when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand design needs.
  • Maintain design archives, organize fabric samples, and manage workflow.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fashion designing (boutique or brand experience preferred).
  • Strong creativity and ability to sketch and illustrate design ideas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of fabrics, materials, and garment construction.
  • Passion for fashion, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
