Backend Software Engineer (ASP.NET) – Junior / Mid-Level

Experience

1 to 3 years of experience as an ASP.NET developer.

Role Summary

The Backend Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain server-side components for our web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies. The role also includes working with relational databases for data design and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-structured code in C# following object-oriented principles
  • Design database tables and relationships based on application requirements
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
  • Support database maintenance tasks, including performance tuning and basic administration, mainly on Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
  • Implement software design patterns and security best practices
  • Use version control systems for source code management
  • Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, and deployment in Agile or waterfall environments

Key Technical Skills

  • Programming: Strong skills in C# and object-oriented programming
  • Web Development: Hands on experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API
  • Databases:
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
  • Experience in writing stored procedures, functions, and optimized queries
  • Basic understanding of indexing and query performance
  • Tools and Practices:
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git
  • Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹24, ₹25,000.00 per month
