Technical Product Manager, Finance Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Technical Product Manager
to drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technology solutions for our finance operations. This role is crucial for enabling effective finance reporting, analytics, and overall business efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of
technical expertise, business analysis skills, and stakeholder management
to ensure our systems meet business objectives and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the
    product vision, strategy, and roadmap
    for finance-related technology products and integrations.
  • Partner with finance, engineering, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Oversee the
    end-to-end product lifecycle
    , from ideation and requirements gathering to delivery and user adoption.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Manage integrations between our ERP (e.g.,
    SAP ERP, SAP PI/PO
    ) and various third-party systems such as
    CRM, BI tools, Boomi, MDM, Concur, and Workday
    .
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to drive efficiency and align product delivery with strategic roadmaps.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with relevant finance and data governance standards, including
    SOX
    .
  • Facilitate discussions with Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) and Solution Architects to ensure technical alignment.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to measure product performance and inform future enhancements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage the release process.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    8+ years of experience in product management, business systems analysis, or a similar role, with a strong focus on finance-related systems.
  • Domain Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of finance processes, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Revenue Recognition, and Financial Reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with
    ERP platforms (SAP, Workday)
    and financial system integrations.
  • Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
