Dear Candidate,

We are looking for an
Research & Development (Deuterium Chemistry / Isotopic Labelling)
to create long-term, trusting relationships with our R&D. The Executive's role is to Isotopic Labelling / API Research & Development

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong expertise in organic synthesis and isotopic labeling
.

Knowledge of
selective deuterium incorporation techniques
and isotopic exchange reactions.

Hands-on experience in
deuterium enrichment, isotopic purity analysis, and stability studies
.

Ability to optimize and scale up
cost-effective deuterium processes
.

Skilled in
analytical techniques
for structure confirmation and isotopic distribution analysis.

Proficiency in
problem-solving, process development, and cost reduction strategies
.

Strong teamwork and communication skills with a
research-driven and result-oriented approach
.

Quick learner with adaptability to advanced isotope chemistry challenges.

Job Responsibilities:


• Develop and optimize synthetic routes for deuterated APIs, intermediates, impurities, and working standards (WS)
.


• Conduct
isotopic labeling reactions
(using D₂O, CD₃OD, CDCl₃, NaBD₄, LiAlD₄, etc.) for selective deuterium incorporation.


• Work on
site-selective hydrogen–deuterium exchange (HDX)
and substitution strategies.


• Carry out
scale-up of deuterated compounds
ensuring high isotopic purity and yield.


• Perform
literature and patent surveys
(Reaxys, Scifinder, etc.) to design synthetic strategies for deuterated analogs.


• Optimize cost-effective labeling processes, including
reagent recycling, solvent recovery, and isotopic enrichment efficiency
.


• Develop deuterated standards for use in
bioanalytical studies, mass spectrometry, and pharma R&D
.


• Perform impurity profiling, stability studies, and forced degradation of deuterated compounds.


• Use advanced
isolation, purification, and crystallization techniques
to achieve high-purity deuterated materials.


• Ensure adherence to
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
and compliance with
quality & regulatory standards
.


• Interpret and analyze isotopic incorporation and purity using
NMR (¹H, ²H, ¹³C), LC-MS, GC-MS, IR, and HPLC
.

Educational Qualifications:


• M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) – Specialization / experience in
Isotopic Labeling / Deuterium Chemistry
preferred.
