We're Hiring: Basketball Coaches (School Project)

Location: Sohna Road, Gurugram Contractual Role

One of the prominent schools in Delhi/NCR

Employment Type: Full-Time (Contractual, deployed through The Sports Company)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced and passionate Basketball Coach to be placed at one of the top private schools in the city. The coach will be employed by The Sports Company and deployed at the partner school full-time.

This is a high-focus role requiring professional coaching ability, strong communication skills, and the capacity to engage students across age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct daily basketball training sessions for students from Grades 3–12.

Design age-appropriate skill-development programs for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Prepare school teams for inter school, district, state, and national-level competitions.

Manage team selection, fitness planning, and performance tracking. Maintain discipline, safety, and positive sporting culture on the court. Coordinate with the school's sports department and The Sports Company for reporting, scheduling, and event participation.

Organize tournaments, trials, and camps as needed. Ensure proper use and care of basketball equipment and facilities.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of coaching experience at school, academy, or competitive level. Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, techniques, drills, and match strategy. Ability to coach multiple age groups with patience and clarity.

Certification from BFI/NIS/FIBA (preferred, not mandatory). Excellent communication and student-management skills. Physical fitness and the ability to conduct intensive sessions. Professional behaviour, punctuality, and reliability.

Contract & Compensation

Role Type: Full-time, contractual (coach will be on the payroll of The Sports Company).

Contract Duration: Till May 2026 (renewable).

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
