Job description

The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with leading international partners, including the National Defence University of Malaysia, Griffith University (Australia), and the Cyber Security & Digital Industrial Revolution Centre at NDUM.

The selected Postdoctoral Fellow will work on advanced security research in the following domains: Designing privacy-preserving authentication mechanisms for next-generation wireless and IoT devices.

Developing energy-efficient and lightweight security frameworks for edge and fog environments.

Implementing blockchain-based trust architectures for secure, decentralized communication.

Building AI-driven anomaly detection models optimized for high-speed data streams in 6G networks.

Integrating ML-based threat detection with SDN, NFV, and network slicing technologies.

Contributing to national and international collaborative research involving universities, government agencies, and industry partners. Core Research Areas

Privacy-Preserving Authentication (Zero-knowledge proofs, Homomorphic encryption, Federated authentication).

Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Security for IoT and 6G.

6G Network Security Frameworks (Ultra-low latency security, Reconfigurable surfaces, Edge intelligence).

Energy-Efficient Security Algorithms for Edge/Fog Computing.
