Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% on-time procurement of all yarns, fabrics, and related materials.
  • Source and develop new suppliers & subcontractors (Sizing, Weaving, Dyeing, Stitching, etc.) to meet production needs.
  • Ensure timely receipt of all Transaction Certificates (TC) for certified orders (GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, Fair Trade, BCI, CMIA).
  • Prepare and maintain a Supplier Data Bank with detailed vendor and material information.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising and Planning teams for material requirement planning and price enquiries.
  • Evaluate supplier/subcontractor performance and recommend Green Channel Partner (GCP) status for qualified partners.
  • Track and review team KPI performance, ensuring continuous improvement

Key Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of yarn, fabric, and textile raw materials.
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent coordination and communication across departments.
  • Exposure to certified textile sourcing (GOTS / BCI / OCS / GRS) preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP or MIS tools for reporting.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good communication skill

Qualification & Experience

  • Any Degree / Diploma in Textile / Supply Chain / Operations Management.
  • 5–7 years of experience in textile sourcing, purchase, or supply chain functions.
  • Experience in grey fabric-oriented textile units preferred.
