Key Responsibilities

  • Site Supervision:
  • Monitor day-to-day activities at the construction site.
  • Ensure work progresses as per the schedule and meets quality standards.
  • Coordination:
  • Liaise with contractors, laborers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the project manager and design team to resolve any on-site issues.
  • Material Management:
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and usage of materials at the site.
  • Ensure minimal wastage and maintain accurate records.
  • Quality Control:
  • Inspect work to ensure it adheres to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Address and rectify defects or deviations promptly.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure workers adhere to them.
  • Report any safety violations or accidents immediately.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain daily site logs, including work progress, manpower deployment, and materials used.
  • Submit regular progress updates to the project manager.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Address on-site challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Recommend solutions for unforeseen issues or delays.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in residential construction supervision (preferred).
  • Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
