Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and talented Media Professional with expertise in Researching, Reporting and Anchoring. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and verifying information, conducting detailed research, and presenting content confidently on various media platforms. This role requires strong news sense, creativity, and on-camera presence to deliver impactful and engaging stories to the audience.

The ideal candidate will be versatile, proactive, and passionate about journalism, capable of handling both fieldwork responsibilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research to gather accurate and reliable information for news stories, shows, and reports.
  • Verify facts and ensure credibility and accuracy of all information.
  • Prepare research reports, background notes.
  • Stay updated on current affairs, politics, economics, and social issues.
  • Support script development and content creation with data and insights.
  • Cover on-ground events, breaking news, and feature stories.
  • Conduct interviews and gather information directly from sources and stakeholders.
  • Capture high-quality video, audio, and images for multimedia storytelling.
  • Build and maintain strong networks and sources for continuous news updates.
  • Ensure ethical journalism standards and timely reporting.
  • Present live news bulletins, interviews, and panel discussions with clarity and confidence.
  • Deliver scripts and breaking news updates professionally and dynamically.
  • Engage viewers with impactful and compelling storytelling techniques.
  • Handle live situations with quick decision-making and presence of mind.
  • Maintain a professional and credible on-screen persona.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (English & Hindi preferred).
  • Excellent on-camera presence and public speaking ability.
  • Proficiency in news research, fact-checking, and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of news production and editorial processes.
  • Knowledge of current affairs, politics, and trending topics.
  • Ability to multitask between reporting, researching, and anchoring.
  • Creative storytelling and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with a professional and proactive mind-set.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in reporting, research, or anchoring preferred.
  • Freshers with strong skills and passion for media are encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively for field reporting and events.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and digital platforms will be an advantage.
