We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Automation QA Engineer to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Build and manage scalable test automation frameworks to support continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify, prioritize, and resolve software defects.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across web applications.
  • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and strategy.
  • Provide clear, detailed, and actionable bug reports.
  • Continuously improve automation processes and coverage.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years focused on test automation.
  • Strong experience with Playwright
  • Proficiency in TypeScript or Javascript
  • Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
