Job Description:
The Nursing Superintendent will be responsible for managing the entire nursing team, ensuring adherence to hospital policies, maintaining patient safety standards, and coordinating with clinical and administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor nursing services across all departments.
- Ensure implementation of hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control protocols.
- Prepare and manage nursing duty rosters, leaves, and schedules.
- Conduct regular training, orientation, and performance appraisals of nursing staff.
- Maintain discipline, grooming standards, and professional behavior within the nursing team.
- Coordinate with HR and management for recruitment and manpower planning.
- Ensure proper documentation, audits, and compliance with statutory norms.
Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 4–10 years, including 2–3 years in a supervisory/administrative role.
- Registration: Valid Nursing Council registration.
