Purpose of Role:
This is a new position created to support BU Engineering in the areas of Layout engineering on Comminution and other mineral processing systems. The Role involves designing Test Skids & Plants for mineral processing & comminution products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
• Designing Test Skids & Plants for mineral processing & comminution products.
• Create and modify CAD drawings to reflect the layout of equipment, piping, structural and other plant components.
• Design the layout in compliance with the contract specific requirements
• Collaborate with process engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the layout meets all technical and safety requirements.
• Optimize plant layout to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent. More than 5 years of relevant experience in executing medium to large sized projects

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in developing Test Skids & Plants for mineral processing & comminution products.
• Interpret the process flowsheet & prepare the layout accordingly
• Familiar with the design of baseframes, Bins, Chutes, structures and other utilities.
• Participate in technical discussions with Customers & other stakeholders
• Proficiency in CAD software preferably UGNX or other Tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG NX, SketchUp, Tekla).
