Key Responsibilities:
Presales & Solutioning
- Lead client conversations to understand business requirements and translate them into GCP-based solutions.
- Develop proposals, solution architectures, and effort estimations for cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to support RFPs, RFIs, and client presentations.
Cloud Engineering & Migration
- Architect and implement cloud migration strategies from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP.
- Design and deploy solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership during migration and modernization efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in cloud engineering.
- Proven experience in GCP architecture, cloud migration, and presales.
- Hands-on expertise with VMware, GCVE, and GKE.
- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security.
- Experience in effort estimation, proposal writing, and client engagement.
- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
