About the Role:

Elite Digital Logistics (EDL) is building
EGS 2.0
, a next-generation, cloud-native digital logistics platform serving global freight forwarding, chemical, and petrochemical supply chain customers.

We are seeking a
Mid-Level Technical AWS Architect
with 5
years of core architecture experience
and a strong foundation in
AWS, API Gateway, Microservices, Angular, , and PostgreSQL
.

This role will focus on
application architecture, integration patterns, system scalability, and performance optimization
—working closely with the Lead AWS Architect, development teams, and product owners to ensure technical excellence across modules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution & Application Architecture

• Design and document
  end-to-end application architecture
  for microservices, APIs, and UI integration.
• Define standards for
  API structure, versioning, security, and error handling.
• Ensure alignment with overall EGS 2.0 architecture and AWS best practices.
• Review high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) for all functional modules (Import, Export, Billing, Control Tower, etc.).
• Work closely with front-end (Angular) and back-end ) teams to define architecture layers, component boundaries, and deployment strategy.

2. Microservices & Integration

• Architect
  independent, domain-driven microservices
  for scalability and reusability.
• Define
  integration contracts
  and coordinate with middleware/Seeburger and external systems (ERP, SAP, Ocean carriers, EDI).
• Establish event-driven workflows using
  AWS SNS, SQS, and EventBridge
  for real-time communication and decoupled design.
• Review API gateway setup, routing, and performance.

3. Cloud-Native Application Design

• Design and deploy applications leveraging
  AWS services
  such as Lambda, ECS Fargate, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with the Lead AWS Architect on
  security, VPC, scaling, and resilience strategies.
• Optimize system performance and reliability through caching, load balancing, and asynchronous design.
• Recommend and implement observability strategies (metrics, logs, traces).

4. Database & Data Flow Architecture

• Design efficient
  PostgreSQL
  schemas supporting transactional integrity and performance.
• Define data models, relationships, and migration plans.
• Collaborate on
  data pipelines
  for operational dashboards and analytics integrations.

5. Technical Governance & Code Quality

• Define and enforce
  coding standards, naming conventions, and version control strategies.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs.
• Introduce reusable frameworks and shared libraries to reduce duplication.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines are aligned with microservice deployment strategy.

6. Collaboration & Mentorship

• Act as a
  technical liaison
  between developers, testers, and architects.
• Support sprint planning and user story refinement from a technical perspective.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Partner with QA automation and DevOps teams for test-driven deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12+years total experience
  , including 5
  years in architecture roles
  across major enterprise-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience with:
• /
  – Backend service architecture
• Angular
  – UI component and API integration design
• PostgreSQL
  – Database schema and query optimization
• AWS
  – Lambda, S3, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, RDS
• Docker / ECS / CI-CD pipelines
  (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins)
• Proven track record of
  3+ end-to-end project deliveries
  as an architect or technical lead.
• Strong understanding of
  RESTful API design, JSON schema management, and microservice security.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer (Associate/Professional).
• Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, or EKS).
• Exposure to
  AI/ML or analytics integration
  in logistics or supply chain domain.
• Working knowledge of
  Seeburger, EDI, or API integration gateways.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
