Job Description Key Skillset and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of test automation efforts for both web UI applications and APIs (RESTful services).
  • Define, drive, and maintain automation testing strategies and frameworks for Selenium and Rest Assured across multiple projects.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in automation testing, offering guidance and solutions to technical challenges.
  • Set up, improve, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of UI test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Ensure the execution of functional, regression, and end-to-end tests for web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Implement cross-browser testing to ensure consistency and reliability of web applications.
  • Drive the adoption of automation best practices to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Lead the development of custom test automation frameworks to improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of automation scripts.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to ensure continuous delivery and testing.
  • Optimize and refactor existing automation scripts and frameworks to reduce technical debt and increase test execution efficiency.
