Job Description:

Our client is a large global consulting firm. They are leading an SAP S/4 Hana implementation for a Chicago area Chemicals company that kicked off with Phase Zero earlier this year and is just getting into Design/Build. The client has an old ECC system from 1998 and most at the client-side end users only have SAP experience from that system specifically. It was not set up optimally for best practices. This has led to a bigger lift than what was expected originally by the consulting firm, both on confirming the design and the resulting data construction. This project is RISE, so clean core is important.

  • The team is leveraging a largely global project team, with a small number of onshore resources. They are looking to add an SAP TM Lead to their team based from offshore. This person will be the only TM person on the project and will be responsible to:
  • Organize and Lead client workshops
  • Drive the team to provide recommendations pros and cons.
  • Advise the client on best practices
  • Drive work for the TM workstream including design, build, test and deploy
  • Hands on writing config documents, executing config, writing FD's writing process documents.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of overall SAP Experience
  • 5+ years of SAP TM
  • Experience with SAP RISE and the importance of clean core
  • Experience as Lead
  • Experience gathering requirements and creating functional designs
  • Willing and able to do hands-on work for configuration and testing
  • Strongly prefer prior consulting firm experience
  • Chemical industry a plus, but not required
