Civil Site Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer to manage, supervise, and execute on-site civil construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, standards, and safety norms.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor the progress of civil works and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and measurements to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE) at the site.
- Verify and approve bills, measurements, and work done reports from contractors.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and cost control of civil activities.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience working with government or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
- Knowledge of structural drawings and rebar detailing.
- Understanding of green building standards or sustainable construction practices.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2) or Safety Training (NEBOSH / OSHA) is an advantage.
