Purpose of the Position :

Good Knowledge of Driver Airbag development process in OEM

Capable of choosing the concept & design of the Airbag wrt to Seat profile

Good Knowledge of NCAPS, crash & Simulation

Able to mark zones for the CAB development

Good knowledge of testing requirements of Side Airbags

Good knowledge of plastic & metal parts design & manufacturing

Able to identify the root cause & provide improvement plan in case of failures.

Ensure compliance with internal and external requirement such as Specifications (LAH) regulatory, homologation and identified Key performance Indicators (KPIs)

Good knowledge of CATIA V, release software's

Continuously seek and identify new Indian technologies / development opportunities based on competitor/market trends, customer requirements, Supplier inputs and Manufacturing requirements

Responsible for milestones and deliverables (Concept car, STRAK etc.) till EOP. Creation of documentation and release it (P, B, BMG, K etc.)including relevant administrative activities

Point contact as part owner for suppliers & other departments. Coordination with departments like QA, pilot hall, Purchasing & Development for product optimization and issue resolution.

Support for CFT review meeting at India level
