Roles and Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and executing test plans for Salesforce applications.
  • Identifying, recording, and tracking software defects in a bug tracking system.
  • Working closely with developers to ensure defects are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
  • Provide detailed test result reports to project manager and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that Salesforce applications meet business requirements and standards
  • Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies to improve the overall quality of software
  • Performing regression testing to ensure that changes to the software do not impact functionality.
  • Should take active part in requirement gathering sessions for the project.
  • Assessing and evaluating new Salesforce features and updates.
  • Should have experience in administration and configuration of Salesforce portal using "clicks, not code"
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the system have been tested and are working perfectly.
  • While not always required, knowledge of Apex, the Salesforce programming language, can be beneficial for creating complex test cases.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, particularly with Salesforce applications.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
