Key Responsibilities

  1. Accounting & Financial Operations

  2. Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP/AR, ledger entries, reconciliations, and general accounting.

  3. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements-P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.

  4. Manage project-level accounting, cost allocation, and financial tracking.

  5. Taxation & Compliance

  6. Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.

  7. Review monthly/quarterly returns and ensure timely filing.
  8. Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.

  9. Ensure compliance with RERA, company law requirements, and real estate financial norms.

  10. Budgeting & Forecasting

  11. Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for projects and the company.

  12. Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions.

  13. Track project cash flows and fund requirements.

  14. Financial Planning & Analysis

  15. Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

  16. Conduct cost analysis, project profitability evaluation, and ROI assessments.

  17. Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for management.

  18. Banking & Fund Management

  19. Liaise with banks for loans, overdrafts, project financing, and documentation.

  20. Manage cash flows, fund allocation, and working capital.

  21. Monitor repayment schedules and financial covenants

  22. Internal Controls

  23. Implement and monitor robust accounting systems and process controls.

  24. Improve financial processes for accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

  25. Team Management (If applicable)

  26. Guide junior accountants and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  27. Review financial entries and documentation prepared by the team.

Qualifications

  • CA Completed or CA Appeared (Preferred)
  • M.Com/MBA Finance can be considered with strong experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Real Estate Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software
