As a seasoned Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for securing macOS endpoints against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data loss. This role leverages native macOS security features, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, other EDR solutions, and Jamf Pro to protect and manage over 15,000 macOS devices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security controls to protect macOS devices from unauthorized access, malware, and data breaches
• Configure and manage the PF (Packet Filter) firewall to enforce network security policies and ensure compliance
• Administer Jamf Pro for macOS device management, focusing on security posture, policy enforcement, and compliance reporting
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other EDR platforms to deliver advanced threat protection and real-time incident response
• Perform vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify and remediate security gaps
• Develop and enforce macOS-specific security policies, standards, and procedures
• Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with IT, architecture, and compliance teams to ensure cohesive security integration
• Support secure access technologies including VPN, CASB, Conditional Access, and MFA
• Stay current with macOS security trends, threat intelligence, and emerging technologies
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in macOS architecture and administration with a focus on security
• Experience with PF firewall configuration and management
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Sophos)
• Deep understanding of macOS security frameworks and endpoint protection strategies
• Proficiency in Jamf Pro for enterprise macOS device management
• Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automating security tasks
• Experience integrating macOS endpoints into Microsoft Azure environments
• Familiarity with security tools, frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST)
