Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Execute Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Java and Selenium to create robust and efficient automated test scripts for web applications.
  • Requirements Analysis and Translation: Understand client requirements and specifications, translating them into detailed system and test requirements.
  • Test Case Development and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including functional, regression, and UAT cycles.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
  • Framework Development and Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product management, development teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Assist in estimating work requirements and contributing to project planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java: Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and best practices.
  • Selenium Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
  • Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including Agile development practices.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, diagnose issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Education: Typically a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., B.E., B.Tech, MCA).
