Role Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Data Engineer
with strong experience in MS SQL Server, ETL development (SSIS), OLAP modeling, and Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize large-scale database applications, build robust data pipelines, and ensure high-quality delivery of Data Engineering and Automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable database applications using MS SQL Server.
  • Build and enhance ETL pipelines using SSIS, including integration and transformation processes.
  • Develop OLAP solutions using star and snowflake schemas, multi-dimensional modeling, and complex data solution design.
  • Develop automation scripts and data processing solutions using Python.
  • Contribute to data modeling, data architecture, and performance optimization activities.
  • Support dashboard/reporting teams (Tableau/Power BI) with data source creation and optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and governance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, and global stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines for all data pipeline components.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience with MS SQL Server
  • Data modeling, database design & performance tuning
  • Strong development experience with SSIS (ETL packages)
  • OLAP development experience, including star schema, snowflake schema, multidimensional modeling
  • Hands-on experience with Python
  • Basic understanding of dashboards (Tableau / Power BI preferred)

Good To Have Skills

  • Experience leading Data Engineering and Automation initiatives
  • Expertise in RDBMS and large-scale data systems
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional and cross-geography teams
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline orchestration and delivery management
