Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru for an Industrial Automation Engineer at Ace Designers Limited. The Industrial Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting automated systems and robotics. Daily tasks include process control, electrical engineering tasks, and ensuring seamless operation and integration of automation solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical components of industrial automation and robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Design of Automation control topology ad per solution requirements and design criteria - Robot and gantry based automation solutions
  • Control system elements selection and BOM finalization - PLC, HMI, IPC, motion controllers, drives, etc.,
  • Components selection and integration - Select sensors, actuators, safety elements, etc., and integrategration
  • Develop PLC logic, HMI screens, intutive UI screens and dashboards
  • Interfacing robots, PLC and pheriperal equipments
  • Sytem and project documentation

Qualifications

  • Troubleshooting and Process Control skills
  • Automation and Robotics expertise
  • Proficiency in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Relevant experience in industrial automation or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with CNC machinery or manufacturing processes is advantageous
