- Field Data Collection 
- Assist in conducting surveys to measure land features, boundaries, and elevations. 
- Operate survey equipment, such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels.
- Collect and record accurate field data under the supervision of senior surveyors. 
- Assisting with Survey Plans 
- Support in preparing site layouts, maps, and detailed drawings based on survey results. 
- Collaborate with senior surveyors to interpret and implement project plans. 
- Boundary Identification 
- Help in identifying property lines, boundaries, and easements for land parcels. 
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during surveys. 
- Equipment Maintenance 
- Maintain, clean, and calibrate survey instruments to ensure accuracy. 
- Report any issues with equipment to supervisors for repairs or replacements. 
- On-Site Support 
- Assist in marking reference points, boundaries, and construction layouts. 
- Provide support during construction projects by setting out points and verifying measurements. 
- Data Processing and Documentation 
- Input collected survey data into computer software for analysis and mapping. 
- Assist in preparing reports, charts, and documentation for project records. 
- Team Collaboration 
- Work closely with senior surveyors, engineers, and project managers to meet project goals. 
- Follow instructions and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations. 
- Compliance and Safety 
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines while on-site. 
- Comply with local laws and regulations during survey activities. 
- Learning and Development 
- Continuously learn new survey methods, techniques, and technologies. 
- Stay updated with advancements in survey equipment and software. 
- Problem-Solving 
- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors in measurements. 
- Adapt to site challenges such as difficult terrain or adverse weather conditions.
