The Role

As a Prompt Engineer specializing in AI Voice Agents, you'll be at the heart of our client projects, designing, iterating, and optimizing prompts that power natural, engaging conversations. This full-time role involves close collaboration with our development and client success teams to deliver high-quality AI voice solutions from concept to deployment. You'll manage a steady pipeline of 15 prompts per month, ensuring each one is refined through iterative feedback and rigorously tested for performance. Expect a mix of creative problem-solving, technical precision, and client-facing communication in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prompt Creation & Maintenance
  : Develop and refine 15 high-quality prompts monthly for AI voice agents tailored to client-specific use cases, such as appointment booking, customer support, or lead qualification.
• Iterative Collaboration
  : Engage in regular back-and-forth with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, incorporate feedback, and iterate on prompts until they meet or exceed expectations.
• End-to-End Project Delivery
  : Lead the complete lifecycle of AI voice agent projects, from initial prompt design and integration with voice platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, or custom LLMs) to final deployment and handover.
• Testing & Optimization
  : Conduct thorough testing of prompts for accuracy, natural flow, edge cases, and user satisfaction; analyze performance metrics and make data-driven adjustments to improve response quality and reduce errors.
• Documentation & Best Practices
  : Maintain detailed documentation for all prompts and processes; contribute to internal knowledge sharing on emerging prompt engineering techniques for voice AI.
• Client Support
  : Provide ongoing support for live agents, troubleshooting issues and suggesting enhancements to ensure long-term success.

What We're Looking For

• Experience
  : 2+ years in prompt engineering, preferably with AI voice or conversational systems; hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT series, Llama) and voice AI tools.
• Technical Skills
  : Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP), prompt optimization techniques, and scripting (Python or similar for automation/testing). Familiarity with voice-specific challenges like intonation, context retention, and multi-turn dialogues.
• Soft Skills
  : Excellent communication for client interactions; detail-oriented with a knack for creative yet precise language crafting. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, iterative environment.
• Education
  : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Bonus Points
  : Experience with A/B testing for prompts, knowledge of accessibility in voice AI, or prior work in client-facing roles.
