Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock medical care for patients admitted to the ICU.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients with multi-organ dysfunction or failure.
- Perform and supervise critical care procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and other emergency interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff for coordinated patient management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient status, treatment plans, and procedures.
- Participate in daily clinical rounds and case discussions.
- Manage emergency situations and provide guidance to junior doctors and ICU staff.
- Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards.
- Stay updated with current trends and advancements in critical care medicine.
