Job Summary

Atria IT is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor with a specialization in Marketing to join our MBA Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, conducting research, guiding students, and contributing to the academic and professional growth of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and facilitate learning in core and elective Marketing courses at the postgraduate level (MBA)
  • Develop course curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with academic standards and industry relevance
  • Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and career development
  • Engage in scholarly research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic conferences
  • Contribute to departmental and institutional activities such as curriculum development, admissions, and academic audits
  • Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary initiatives and research
  • Foster industry partnerships and bring practical insights into the classroom
  • Participate in faculty meetings, student advisory, and quality enhancement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBA in Marketing or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institute
  • Minimum [2–3] years of teaching/research/industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in using digital tools and LMS for teaching and assessment

Desirable Skills

  • Practical experience or consulting background in marketing domains (digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, etc.)
  • Exposure to case-based and experiential learning pedagogy
  • Strong academic research orientation with a focus on contemporary marketing issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hebbal, Bengaluru , Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
