Desktop Support Engineer

Job Location: Mohali, Punjab, 5 days (WFO)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: - As per Industry Norms

Shift Timing: - 10:00 AM: 7:00 PM

Experience Required: - 0-1 year

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Desktop Support Engineer with 01 year of experience to join our IT team. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, and other office equipment, as well as providing support to employees in both the India and US offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.) for India and US employees.
  • Install and configure Windows operating systems and approved company software.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues (both onsite and remote).
  • Maintain and update the IT asset inventory for India and US offices.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding tasks like user account setup and access management.
  • Assist employees with day-to-day IT issues (email, login, applications, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth LAN/Wi-Fi network operations in the India office.
  • Log IT issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Follow IT policies and security guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly with employees in India and the US through email, chat, or calls.

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS and computer hardware.
  • Familiar with MS Office and commonly used software tools.
  • Understanding of basic networking (LAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn and take the initiative.
  • Team player with a problem-solving mindset.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor's in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • IT internships or coursework/project work in hardware/software support is a plus.
