Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation:

  • Operate BQS B-45 and Elmach 2500 blister packing machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Set up machine parameters for different products and batches.

  • Perform changeovers, tooling, and format part adjustments as per batch requirements.

  • Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth, continuous operation.

  • Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure packing is performed as per approved batch packing records (BPRs).

  • Check blister sealing quality, batch coding, batch number, and expiry details.

  • Conduct in-process checks (e.g., leak test, blister integrity, pack appearance).

  • Report deviations or abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.

  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Carry out minor maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.

  • Assist maintenance personnel in breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all tools and accessories are maintained in good condition.

  • Documentation:

  • Record all machine operations, cleaning, and changeover activities in BMR/BPR.

  • Maintain logbooks, equipment usage records, and other GMP documents accurately.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of blister packing operations and parameters.
  • Understanding of GMP documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common machine problems.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills.
