Role & responsibilities

Lead the design, architecture, and development of storage systems for the Doc Vault platform.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement platform engineering best practices.

  • Build and scale distributed storage solutions leveraging Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka, caching, and logging frameworks.

  • Ensure systems are highly available, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance at scale.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.

  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in cloud-native architectures, storage technologies, and distributed systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in designing and scaling distributed storage systems using Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka, and related technologies.

  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and platform engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with caching strategies, logging frameworks, and monitoring tools.

  • Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture.

  • Strong coding skills in Java, with experience in Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-scale, high-availability platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
