We're Hiring: Bakery Chef – CDP

Location: Central Kitchen – Brown Town Bakery, Calicut

Brown Town Bakery is looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef – CDP to join our central production team in Calicut. If you have a strong background in artisanal baking, love working with quality ingredients, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a section in the bakery production line, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Prepare a wide range of baked goods including breads, viennoiserie, cookies, and cakes.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure proper workflow within your section.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
• Assist with new product development and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase team.
• Ensure daily production targets and delivery schedules are met.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in a professional bakery or central kitchen.
• At least 1 year experience as a CDP or in a supervisory baking role.
• Expertise in dough handling, proofing, baking, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to manage a small team and work under production deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of baking equipment and kitchen operations.
• A diploma or degree in Bakery & Patisserie or Hotel Management is preferred.
