Job Title: Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote (Flexible hours with some work during US Central Time Zone and regular India business hours)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist to join our team. This full-time remote position requires expertise in US medical insurance verification, authorizations, and referrals. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient with the eClinicalWorks software program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Verification:
    • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of insurance information.
  • Insurance Authorizations and Referrals:
    • Obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures.
    • Process and manage referrals efficiently.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with insurance companies to resolve issues.
    • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers regarding insurance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance verification, authorizations, and referrals.
  • Proficient in using eClinicalWorks software program.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule:

  • The position is remote-based.
  • Some work must be conducted during US Central Time Zone hours.
  • Independent work can be completed during regular India business hours.
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo training during US Central Time Zone hours.
