Data Analyst

Job Description
We are currently seeking a data analyst to help us collect, transform and extract meaning from data for the Global Technology Services (GTS) Business Intelligence & Analytics team at State Street. The position performs a wide range of activities with experts from GTS, data, business intelligence, governance, and data analysts to collaboratively solve a wide array of complex technical problems.

About The GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics Team
The GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics team is an exciting and growing area of State Street with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our data, metrics, and dashboards at State Street. The team is focused on the providing enhanced visibility and actionable insights that help identify critical risks, status, and trends that help inform a wide range of audiences from daily operational teams to State Street executives and up to the Board of Directors. As a data analyst within the GTS Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you will have a significant opportunity to making a difference on the team, within the GTS organization, as well as State Street overall.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Understanding requirements, researching, proposing, and delivering a wide range of automated solutions
• Assisting with project planning in Jira and documentation in Confluence
• Collaborating and building relationships with the other primary data functions across State Street

Requirements

• An online portfolio with examples that demonstrates your data analysis skills
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence
• Agile Project Management Experience, Certified Scrum Master a plus
• Prior experience with relational and non-relational databases
• 14+ years of overall experience

10+ years of work experience or equivalent in delivering large-scale, complex programs with a strong focus on technology transformation, big data, automation, analytics, and business intelligence.
