We are Hiring Hostel Warden Girls Hostel- Delhi Public School, Yamunanagar

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Welfare & Discipline

• Maintain discipline, moral conduct, and a positive environment in the hostel.
• Ensure students follow hostel rules, lights-out timings, attendance, and daily routines.
• Address behavioural issues with empathy and firmness.
• Monitor academic schedules, prep-time, and encourage participation in activities.

2. Safety & Security

• Conduct regular roll calls and ensure 24×7 safety of boarders.
• Monitor entry–exit of students; ensure no unauthorized movement.
• Report any emergencies immediately and take preventive actions.

3. Hostel Operations

• Oversee housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation, and daily cleanliness of hostel rooms and common areas.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for quality, taste, hygiene, and timely meals.
• Ensure availability of first-aid and basic medical care.
• Regular inspections of hostel facilities (bathrooms, water, electricity, recreation rooms).

4. Parent & Management Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding their child's hostel life.
• Maintain discipline reports, attendance logs, and daily records.
• Share behavioural or performance-related updates with school authorities.

5. Student Development & Well-Being

• Encourage sports, physical activity, hobbies, and healthy daily habits.
• Guide students on grooming, etiquette, responsibility, and personal hygiene.
• Create a supportive, motivating, and friendly environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline
• Prior experience as a Hostel Warden or residential mentor (school/college) preferred.
• Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and emotional maturity.
• Should be physically fit, disciplined, and available round-the-clock.

Additional Requirements

• Female candidate only for Girls Hostel.
• Must be willing to reside within the hostel premises 24×7.
• Basic knowledge of first-aid preferred.
• Should have a clean background and clear police verification.
