Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant with BTP Experience

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune/Mumbai/Noida

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant with a strong understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), system administration, upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the SAP landscape, including ECC, S/4HANA, and BTP services, ensuring optimal system performance, security, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform SAP Basis administration tasks across systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc.).
  • Design, configure, and support SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Foundry, Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
  • Manage system copies, client copies, kernel upgrades, and SAP notes/patch implementations.
  • Handle SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations (OS/DB, HANA migrations, S/4HANA conversions).
  • Maintain system performance through proactive monitoring and tuning.
  • Configure and maintain High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and backup strategies.
  • Manage user administration, role assignments, and security compliance across on-premise and BTP landscapes.
  • Collaborate with development and functional teams for transport management and system changes.
  • Monitor BTP subaccounts, service entitlements, and audit logs.
  • Integrate SAP BTP with on-premise systems using SAP Cloud Connector and SAP CPI.
  • Work with SAP Support for incident management and system optimization.
  • Ensure system compliance with SAP best practices, audits, and ITIL processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 to 12 years of experience in SAP Basis administration in medium to large SAP environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP services, especially:

  • SAP Cloud Foundry

  • SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
  • SAP Extension Suite

  • SAP Mobile Services / SAP Launchpad

  • Proven expertise in managing S/4HANA systems and upgrades.

  • Experience with SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid system integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of OS/DB migrations, HANA DB, and SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT).
  • Familiarity with Transport Management System (TMS) and ChaRM.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP security, authorization concepts, and GRC compliance.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
