Job Summary
A reputed multispecialty hospital in Mangaluru, Karnataka is seeking a qualified and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist (DM/DrNB) to join its growing pediatric and neurosciences team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing neurological disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with supportive departments including pediatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat children with neurological disorders such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, neurogenetic and neuromuscular conditions.

Conduct and interpret diagnostic investigations including EEG, neuroimaging, and metabolic panels.

Provide care for pediatric neurology patients in OPD, IPD, emergency, NICU, and PICU settings.

Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans in coordination with allied health professionals.

Counsel families on disease conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term care.

Participate in academic discussions, case presentations, CMEs, and research initiatives.

Maintain thorough medical documentation in line with hospital protocols.

Eligibility Criteria
DM / DrNB in Pediatric Neurology or Neurology with proven pediatric neurology experience.

Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Karnataka Medical Council (KMC).

Sound clinical judgment, diagnostic expertise, and pediatric communication skills.

Willingness to engage in emergency and on-call duties when required.

Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and quality care delivery.

Preferred Skills
Experience in managing complex pediatric neurological cases.

Familiarity with developmental assessments and neurorehabilitation.

Fluency in English; knowledge of Kannada or regional languages is advantageous.

Teaching/research background will be a plus.
