Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Iswarya Hospitals in Chennai. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols, and assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, performing quality control checks on imaging equipment, and providing compassionate care to patients undergoing procedures.
Qualifications
- The candidate should have certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety protocols and practices is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and working with Radiopharmaceuticals is required.
- An understanding and background in Medicine, specifically related to clinical imaging and diagnostics, are highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an empathetic approach to patient care are essential.
- Experience in using advanced imaging technology and related software is a plus.
