Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager Technology to lead and manage the end-to-end procurement function across key technology categories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, driving cost optimization, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute procurement strategies for Technology categories such as Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, Infrastructure, SaaS, and Managed Services.
  • Develop and implement Category Management Plans to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle requirement gathering, sourcing, tendering, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
  • Drive cost efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver value-for-money outcomes.
  • Lead high-value contract negotiations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with CFOs, CIOs, and business leaders to align procurement objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance through regular evaluations and relationship management.
  • Identify procurement risks and ensure adherence to governance frameworks and policies.
  • Utilize ERP/procurement tools (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for effective process management.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best-in-class procurement practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Law (Procurement or Supply Chain specialization preferred).
  • 8+ years of proven experience in Technology Category Procurement.
  • Exposure to technology or education sector will be an added advantage.
