LabVantage LIMS Developer

Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced LabVantage LIMS Developer to provide technical and functional support, configuration, and enhancements for the LabVantage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LIMS workflows, scripting, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of laboratory systems in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, customize, and support LabVantage LIMS modules and workflows while providing user support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Manage data migration, validation, and integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP and MES. Collaborate with IT teams, laboratory staff, and vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. Support system upgrades, testing, and ensure compliance with GxP and 21 CFR Part 11. Maintain documentation of configurations, changes, and support activities.

Must-Have Skills:

7–10 years of hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS.

Strong understanding of LIMS workflows, sample management, and laboratory processes.

Proficiency in LabVantage scripting, Java, SQL, and system configuration.

Knowledge of regulatory standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with system integrations (ERP, MES).

Exposure to performance tuning and system optimization.

Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
